Risk warning

Trading carries a high level of risk. Exodus 2.0 copies trades in gold (XAUUSD), which TradeQuo offers with leverage. Prices can move fast and you can lose all the money in your trading account. A copy below TradeQuo's minimum size is rounded up to that minimum, so a small account carries more risk than its size suggests. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.

We do not know your circumstances and give no advice. Use only money you can afford to lose. If you are unsure, take independent financial advice.

1. Gold and leverage

Gold can move sharply, above all around economic news and when the market reopens after a weekend or holiday. The price can then jump past a stop loss, and the trade closes at a worse price.

With leverage, a small price change makes a large difference to your account, either way. One bad trade can lose more than you expect, and a run of them can use up all the money in the account.

2. Copied trades

  • Each copy is sized to your equity against the master's. A larger account takes larger copies, with larger gains and losses.
  • A copy below TradeQuo's minimum size is rounded up to that minimum, so a small account carries more risk than its size suggests.
  • Your results will not match the master's exactly. Prices, timing, costs and lot rounding all differ.
  • A trade can be copied late or not at all if our server, the internet, MetaTrader 5 or TradeQuo has a problem, and a copy may not close when the master's does.
  • If we stop all copying because something looks wrong, closes are not copied either while that lasts. Copies keep the stop loss and take profit held at TradeQuo.
  • When you pause, open copies are still managed until they close. When you disconnect, they stay open and are yours to manage.

3. The master and its record

The master is traded by an automated strategy. It follows fixed rules and can lose money, above all in market conditions unlike those it was built on.

The record on the Master page is from a TradeQuo demo account. A demo account trades with virtual money at TradeQuo's demo prices, so no real money was at risk, and prices and fills on a live account can be worse.

It covers only the time since the master was connected. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.

4. Our fee

Our share is taken from profit, which lowers your net return. It is charged after each trading day on profit above your previous best, so if a good day is followed by losses, the fee paid for the good day is not refunded.

5. Your account

Your account and its margin are with TradeQuo. If it runs short of margin, TradeQuo may close trades, copied or not, at the market price. Check it in your MT5 app.
